The views from out here are magnificent. The top one in direction town, and the one below where one might venture with maybe a mountain bike. There are more moai along the way.

In this picture I noticed yet another way to explore this beach and beyond, a kayak. Given more time, that would have been a great trip. |

Almost back on the main drag, I heard polynesian style music coming from the high school gym and went to investigate and was treated to a nice little dance spectacle. |
